Explore the Venetian Lagoon and enjoy uncontaminated nature

How about exploring the Venetian Lagoon on a classic wooden boat?

If you’d like to discover the uncontaminated nature and enjoy some unique landscapes while slowly sailing on the Venetian waters, this is the tour for you! You will meet me and our captain in the Southern district of Venice to start exploring the Southern Lagoon.

We will enjoy the Giudecca Island, the Island of S.Lazzaro and Poveglia, known the haunted island! Last but not least we will reach Malamocco, former hometown of the founders of Venice and at the end of our exploration, we’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch in Pellestrina, a peaceful island, home to many Venetian fishermen.

Itinerary

Tour starting times are flexible and are meant to accommodate your schedule! The minimum duration is 2 hours for a sunrise or sunset excursion, but if you prefer a half day or full day tour, I’ll be glad to create a custom itinerary for you!

Meeting point + Tour duration

Meeting Point Options: Address or Intersection, Suggested by Guide: We will meet at the waterbus stop “Zattere” in Dorsoduro district. Pick up at the hotel can be arranged upon request. Additional fees may apply.

Duration: From 2 to 7 hours.

Transportation

The type of boat will depend on the group size and type of excursion chosen. All of them are typical Venetian boats, equipped with sundeck , fridge, stereo, sun awning, winter cabin.

There will be no extra costs during the tour, but feel free to bring some cash with you for gratuities or shopping you may want to do during the tour.
